Overview

SoftDrop respects intellectual property rights. Sellers may list only digital products and services they own, created, licensed, or are legally authorised to sell or deliver.

This policy explains how rights holders can report alleged infringement and how sellers can respond if they believe a removal was incorrect.

How to Report Infringement

Send a copyright or IP complaint to priyadarshihimanshu6@gmail.com with enough information for SoftDrop to identify the listing and evaluate the complaint.

  • Your full name, organisation, address, email, and phone number.
  • Proof that you own or are authorised to act for the copyright, trademark, or other IP right.
  • The SoftDrop listing URL, seller profile, screenshots, and description of the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in the complaint is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it.

SoftDrop Review and Takedown

SoftDrop may remove or disable access to the relevant listing, pause orders, hold seller payout, ask for more information, notify the seller, or take account action. We may reject incomplete, abusive, clearly unsupported, or bad-faith complaints.

Seller Response or Counter Notice

A seller who believes the complaint is wrong may send a response with ownership proof, license documents, source files, assignment documents, open-source compliance details, client permissions, or other evidence.

SoftDrop may restore, keep removed, or require changes to the listing depending on the evidence and legal risk. SoftDrop is not a court and may choose the lower-risk action for marketplace safety.

Repeat Infringement

Sellers who repeatedly list infringing, stolen, pirated, or unauthorised materials may lose listing privileges, have payouts withheld where legally defensible, and have their accounts suspended or terminated.

No Legal Advice

SoftDrop cannot give legal advice or decide ownership disputes with final legal authority. Parties should consult their own lawyer for complex ownership, licensing, employment, contractor, open-source, or client-work issues.
