Payments, Platform Fee, and Manual Payouts
A platform fee is SoftDrop commission for operating the marketplace, checkout, listing review, buyer-seller workflow, moderation, and support. The exact commission may vary by product category, seller tier, promotion, or separate written agreement.
A seller payout means the amount SoftDrop pays to the seller after a completed order. At this stage, payouts are manual and are not automated Razorpay Route or Marketplace settlements. This architecture may later be migrated to automated marketplace payouts without changing the buyer checkout experience.
Digital Delivery
Digital delivery means making the purchased product or service available electronically. This can include a file download, private repository invite, cloud folder, hosted deployment, API key, design file, documentation, automation workflow, or completed service handover.
There is no physical shipping for SoftDrop digital products and services unless a listing expressly says otherwise.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong, SoftDrop may review order messages, listing terms, delivery proof, buyer evidence, seller evidence, payment status, and platform logs. SoftDrop may ask either party for more information before deciding whether to release payout, request correction, issue a refund, or take account action.
