Scope
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of digital products and services on SoftDrop. Because digital goods can be copied, downloaded, accessed, or used immediately, refunds are handled more carefully than physical product returns.
When Refunds May Be Approved
- The purchased product is not delivered within the seller committed timeline and the delay is not caused by the buyer.
- The delivered item is materially different from the listing description.
- The seller abandons a service order or refuses to complete the agreed scope.
- The delivered file or access is unusable and the seller does not fix it within a reasonable time.
- SoftDrop, the payment processor, bank, or applicable law requires a refund or reversal.
When Refunds Are Usually Not Available
- The buyer changes their mind after purchase.
- The buyer downloads, copies, accesses, deploys, or uses the digital product and the product matches the listing.
- The buyer expected features, revenue, performance, traffic, rankings, or business results not promised in the listing.
- The buyer failed to provide required inputs, credentials, approvals, content, or feedback needed for delivery.
- The buyer violates the Terms, license terms, or acceptable use rules.
Cancellations
A buyer may request cancellation before delivery starts or before digital access is granted. Once a file is downloaded, repository access is granted, a license key is issued, or service work begins, cancellation may be denied or converted into a partial refund review.
SoftDrop may cancel an order if payment fails, fraud is suspected, the listing becomes unavailable, the seller cannot perform, or the order violates policy.
Refund Review Process
Refund requests should be raised through SoftDrop support or the relevant order workflow with order ID, reason, screenshots, delivery evidence, seller communication, and any files needed for review.
SoftDrop generally investigates disputes within 5 to 10 business days. Complex disputes, payment gateway reviews, chargebacks, bank delays, technical verification, or legal issues may take longer.
Possible Outcomes
- Full refund to the original payment method.
- Partial refund where part of the work was delivered or used.
- Seller correction, replacement delivery, or revised deadline.
- Refund denial where the product was properly delivered or the buyer caused the issue.
- Account, listing, or payout action where fraud, abuse, or infringement is found.
Impact on Seller Payouts
SoftDrop may pause, reduce, reverse, or set off seller payout for orders under refund review, chargeback, dispute, fraud review, or policy investigation.
