Seller Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for every product and service they list on SoftDrop. A listing should help a buyer understand exactly what they will receive, what is excluded, how delivery works, and what support is included.
Original, Licensed, and Lawful Work Only
- Do not list cracked software, pirated templates, stolen code, leaked courses, malware, credential tools, spam tools, fake assets, or infringing content.
- Respect copyright, trademarks, open-source licenses, client confidentiality, third-party API terms, and platform policies.
- If you use third-party assets, disclose license limits and make sure resale or transfer is allowed.
Listing Quality
- Use clear titles, honest screenshots, accurate pricing, realistic delivery timelines, and plain descriptions.
- Mention dependencies such as hosting, APIs, paid tools, subscriptions, buyer credentials, domain access, or cloud accounts.
- Explain whether the buyer receives source code, deployment only, a non-exclusive license, commercial rights, documentation, support, or updates.
Delivery and Support
- Meet the delivery deadline stated in the listing or agreed through SoftDrop.
- Provide usable files, access, documentation, setup instructions, and handover notes.
- Respond professionally to buyer questions and reasonable support requests within the promised support period.
- Do not pressure buyers to pay outside SoftDrop or share unnecessary sensitive credentials.
Reviews and Marketplace Conduct
- Do not create fake reviews, review your own listings, ask for misleading reviews, or retaliate against honest feedback.
- Do not plagiarise another seller listing, copy images without rights, scrape private materials, or misrepresent your identity or experience.
- Do not harass buyers, spam messages, bypass platform fees, or move active orders off-platform.
Payout Readiness
Seller payouts are manual. Sellers may need to provide valid payout details, invoices, tax details, GSTIN if applicable, identity or business verification, and delivery proof before payment is released.
SoftDrop may delay or withhold payout where there is a dispute, chargeback risk, refund request, suspicious activity, policy violation, or missing compliance information.
