This Privacy Policy explains how Himanshu Priyadarshi collects and uses information when you access SoftDrop, create an account, list or buy digital products and services, contact support, or use marketplace features.

We collect only information reasonably needed to operate the marketplace, process payments, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, improve the product, and comply with law.

Information We Collect

Account information such as name, email, phone number, username, profile details, and authentication identifiers.
Seller and payout information such as business name, UPI ID, bank details, tax details, GSTIN, invoices, and verification material where required.
Order, listing, delivery, chat, dispute, refund, receipt, review, and support information.
Payment information processed by Razorpay or other payment partners. SoftDrop does not intend to store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
Device and usage information such as browser, IP address, cookies, pages viewed, actions taken, analytics events, security logs, and approximate location derived from technical data.

How We Use Information

To create accounts, display listings, enable checkout, support digital delivery, and process manual seller payouts.
To review listings, detect fraud, enforce Terms, moderate harmful conduct, and resolve disputes.
To send transactional emails, receipts, security notices, support replies, product updates, and legally required notices.
To improve search, recommendations, analytics, reliability, and marketplace safety.
To comply with tax, accounting, payment, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Sharing With Third Parties

We share information only where needed to operate SoftDrop, complete a transaction, provide support, comply with law, or protect users and the platform.

Payment processors such as Razorpay for payment collection, refunds, fraud checks, and related payment services.
Infrastructure and product providers such as hosting, database, analytics, cloud storage, image delivery, authentication, email, and support tools.
Sellers and buyers where needed for an order, delivery, dispute, review, or support workflow.
Government, law enforcement, courts, banks, payment networks, tax authorities, or advisors where legally required or necessary to defend rights.

SoftDrop may use cookies, local storage, analytics tags, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure product performance, detect abuse, and improve marketplace experience.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for marketplace operations, account management, dispute resolution, legal compliance, tax records, fraud prevention, backups, and legitimate business purposes.

Order, payout, receipt, dispute, and tax records may be retained even after account closure where required by law or needed to protect SoftDrop rights.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by contacting priyadarshihimanshu6@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where retention is legally required, technically necessary, or needed for dispute, tax, fraud, or security reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should keep passwords private and report suspicious activity quickly.
